The case of the Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity watch takes is anthracite colouring from a process known as anodization which involves inserting colour pigments into the pores of the case material. In terms of capability, the Masterpiece Gravity is 50 metres water resistant, has a screwed caseback with anti glare properties to its sapphire crystal glass on both sides, together with off centred hours and minutes hands at the 2 o clock location, a distinctive eye catching characteristic chosen by the designers at Maurice Lacroix watches. The visible assortment and oscillator between the 6 and 8 o clock offers a truly unique concept to the watch, allowing the lucky owner an appreciative insight into a segment of the internal structure belonging to the watch. The small seconds sub dial is off centred at the 4 o clock mark. The new Gravity addition holds the automatic calibre ML230 which vibrates at an impressive 18,000 alt h. Maurice Lacroix have engineered the watch to promote a beautifully balanced dial face with decorative features such as the rhodium coated bridges with Cotes de Geneve effect in Colimacon.
